Over six days, more than 62,000 people visited the Hunan Auto Show, China’s first major post-pandemic trade fair. The information was released by the organizers of the event that took place in the city of Changsha
The exhibition, held under new, strict health screening conditions, attracted 100 automobile brands, with about 600 vehicles and 60,000 m² of exhibition area. The organizers also report that 23,910 vehicle orders were placed at the venue, with sales running at approximately US$ 730 million.
Local authorities collaborated with event organizers to ensure the safety of attendees by working together to ensure the defined protocols, such as pre-show identity and health checks – done online and confirmed at the entrance to the fair.
Authorities from the City of Changsha reported that they held a series of meetings to develop the program guidelines for health safety, and convened a special health committee to oversee the entire process.
